With two littles, Mammoth Lakes has been such a fun place for our family year round. In the winter we love getting out in the snow and just enjoying the mountains, and once it warms up, we’re always out exploring the trails.

I’ve always been passionate about mountain living, and my goal is to ensure every visitor feels right at home while experiencing the beauty of this incredible destination. Beyond my business, I’m actively involved in the Army Aviation Association of America and various local Mammoth Lakes organizations. I believe in the power of community and collaboration and am always excited to connect with fellow residents, businesses, and visitors.

The typical fee for short term rental property management in Mammoth Lakes can range from 10-35% depending on who you go with and whether they offer partial or full-service management. As an example, some larger national companies only offer partial management at a reduced rate, which requires more effort on your part coordinating with cleaning crews, restocking supplies, changing linens, maintenance, etc.
To operate a short-term rental in Mammoth Lakes, CA, you must obtain a Short-Term Rental (STR) Permit from the Town of Mammoth Lakes and comply with local regulations, including occupancy limits, noise restrictions, and parking rules. Safety standards like smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and fire extinguishers are required, along with adherence to zoning codes and limits on the number of rentals allowed. Hosts must register with the town, provide guests with clear house rules and safety information, and ensure compliance throughout each stay to avoid violations.
Before collecting any short-term rental taxes from your guests, you need to be aware of whether any taxes have already been collected for you. Short-term rental marketplaces are required to register with the California Department of Revenue and collect CA short-term rental taxes for hosts when the listing is booked.
